Who Can Use This Platform
Breaking of Bread is open to anyone aged 13 or over. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you should have the permission of a parent or guardian.
Content You Submit
You retain ownership of the testimonies and other content you submit to the platform. By submitting content, you grant Breaking of Bread a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store, and distribute your content on the platform and in connection with the platform.
You can withdraw this licence by deleting your content or your account at any time. Please note: published testimonies are anonymised rather than deleted upon account deletion, so the text of a published testimony will remain in the archive without your name attached.
Prohibited Content
You must not submit content that:
- Contains false or deliberately misleading claims
- Is harmful, abusive, harassing, or threatening towards any person
- Is spam or unsolicited promotional material
- Infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party
- Violates any applicable UK law
Moderation
Breaking of Bread reserves the right to review, remove, or reject any content that violates these terms, without notice. Accounts may be suspended or permanently terminated for repeated or serious violations. We aim to act fairly, but moderation decisions are final.
Account Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the account settings page. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon deletion, your account data is hashed and your published testimonies are anonymised as described above.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The platform is provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Breaking of Bread does not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We are not liable for the accuracy, completeness, or legality of any user-submitted content.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from your use of the platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
